TRAVELING TO THE CONGO
The Republic of Congo is a peaceful country and one of the most
urbanized countries in Africa. Its economy is a mixture of village
agriculture, handicrafts and an industrial sector largely based
on petroleum. Pointe-Noire is considered an economic center of The
Republic of Congo as well as a "week-end sea side gateway"
for many residents of Brazzaville, its capital.
Entry Requirements
A passport, visa, and evidence of yellow fever vaccination are required
for entry. To obtain a visa, please contact the nearest Congolese
embassy or consulate.
Health
Anti-malaria precautions should be commenced prior to departure.
Also, evidence of yellow fever vaccination is required for entry.
See your Health Care Provider for an anti malarial prescription
and yellow fever vaccine 4- 6 weeks before your trip.

1 hour ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (+1 GMT). Daylight Saving Time
is not observed.
